Lenna Mae Everhart Moore

Lenna Mae Everhart Moore, 78, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Monday, August 21, 2017, at 4:03 a.m. at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus where she had been a patient ten days.

Lenna was born August 24, 1938, at Bainbridge in Ross County, Ohio to Donald Enoch and Dorothy Cox Everhart.  She was a 1956 graduate of Jeffersonville High School and moved to Washington Court House in 1970 from Jeffersonville.

She was an employee of Armco for 20 years where she worked in the order department and nas a payroll clerk.  She later was a secretary at the First Baptist Church and then, for nearly 20 years, was a legal secretary for Junk & Junk.

 Lenna was a member of Grace Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burdette W. Johnson in 1995; by four brothers, Donald, Harold and Robert Everhart and John McCoy and a sister, Martha Dresbach.

She is survived by her husband, Robert K. Moore whom she married April 7, 2001; a daughter, Susan G. Rushing of Atlanta, GA; two step sons, Steve Johnson of  Georgia and Rick Johnson of Fort Walton Beach, FL; a granddaughter, Megan Rushing of Florence, KY; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Barbara Everhart and Kenneth and Sandy Everhart, all of Washington Court House and Frank and Carol Everhart of Hillsboro; two sisters, Judy Thompson and Juanita Phillips both of Washington Court House and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Jay Lucas, minister at the Grace Community Church, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
